Motivational Monday – Looking in the Mirror

“I’m starting with the man in the mirror
I’m asking him to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer
If you want to make the world a better place
Take a look at yourself, and then make a change”

Thank you, David!

We love our clients! We recently worked with David to buy a home in Berwick. Keep reading to see what they had to say about working with Karin from Universal Properties Network at Keller Williams Coastal Realty!

“Karin was nothing short of top-notch in our search for a home. She was quite the trooper as we trudged through waist-deep snow banks, occasionally needing to shovel a path to a door to view the property. She was proactive in identifying properties that fit our interests and her knowledge of the local area, her honesty and input were invaluable throughout the process. Once we decided on our new home, Karin was able to provide high-quality contacts who were able to provide services during the inspection process as well as post-sale services. She consistently offered her assistance from start to finish and made the process as smooth as possible. I can’t recommend Karin’s services enough! She went above and beyond in our search for our new residence.”

Time to Start Planning

PlanningIf you had to rate 2014 what would its score be?  Have you ended the year with more dreams than dollars or have you fulfilled all of your dreams and goals?  If you want 2015 to be different from 2014, now is the time to make the changes!

It all starts with looking at what you did last year. Did you start the year with a written plan? Did it have specific action steps for each day and what percentage of it did you do? Did you review your plan at least once per quarter and did you measure your results? Did you modify your plan based on your results?  Answering these questions would give you a clearer vision on where you fell short last year.

This is a large struggle for many real estate agents, executing their vision.  Now is the time to decide to plan for 2015.  Consider these: How many sides did you do last year and how much income did you have per side?  How many new prospects did you add to your pipeline last year, bringing the total contacts in your pipeline to __? Where did the majority of your new contacts come from? How many of the prospects in your pipeline have you contacted this year? What is your income goal for this year? How many sides do you need to meet that goal and do you have enough prospects in your timeline to reach your goal?

Answers to these questions will definitely get you through a great and successful year.  Taking time to plan your business goals will move you closer to the reality.  If you need help with this process or a looking for some great advice on how to meet and exceed your goals – contact us at
